Electrolysis works

How Electrolysis works

Electrolysis/Thermolysis, also called short-wave method, high frequency method, or diathermy. Destroys the hair follicle by heat or electrocoagulation. It is the most widely practiced method of permanent hair removal available today.

Electrolysis is ideally suited for thin, shallowly rooted hairs. It is a straightforward approach and yields great results.

Treatments for men

Hair removal has become very popular with a lot of men whether it be for skin problems or for the health conscious or indeed any man to end the drudgery of tweezing, clipping, shaving, wax or laser certain body parts ever again is extremely enticing.

For men who seek complete and permanent hair removal on any part of the body, regardless of skin tone or hair colour, electrolysis is the only method approved by both the British Medical Association (BMA) and the FDA as permanent hair removal.

Skin tag treatment

Skin tag removal is achievable through electrolysis. This highly beneficial treatment is a simple and affordable rid your face and body of a skin tags forever. The treatment offers powerful, permanent results. Electrolysis is a viable answer to nearly half of the population that suffers with skin tags.

Removal of skin tags is simple and quick with electrolysis. The procedure consists of cauterising the skin tag with an electrolysis needle. This allows the electrolysis method to sufficiently destroy the skin tag growth. This simple procedure typically lasts for five to ten minutes; discomfort is minimal. The course of treatment varies, depending on the size and number of the skin tags to be removed. It is a noninvasive procedure that will not commonly leave scar tissue. It is an advanced treatment, so you can expect optimal results. The electrolysis course of treatment is highly effective to not allow skin tags to reappear.

Thread Veins

Thread veins (sometimes known as broken or spider veins) are completely harmless but can make people feel self-conscious, especially if they are on the face. As you age they can also become more noticeable.

Our thread vein treatment produces immediate results. A tiny pre-sterilised probe is placed onto the surface of the skin and a burst of radio frequency energy in the form of heat is released for a quick second drying out the blood flow. Performing electrolysis thread vein removal is completely safe and can be used on very sensitive areas such as the face without there being any adverse effects. Following the thread vein treatment with Electrolysis the skin begins to heal and the results are very pleasing as the unsightly facial thread veins would have disappeared.

We use Thermolysis – a safe and highly effective technique – to remove a wart or verruca from your skin.
This form of treatment requires the tip of a small probe to be used with a Thermolysis current. Most clients describe the process as a little uncomfortable, but easily tolerated. The area treated will feel warm for a short period and scabs will appear over the days immediately after treatment. This is quite normal and the scabs will normally heal within two weeks.

Each Wart Removal treatment takes a minimum of 15 minutes, but the duration of treatment maybe increased if a larger area is to be treated. Follow-up appointments may be necessary, although typically only one or two treatments are required, 4 to 8 weeks apart.
